Hoping to do some spring cleaning and start new work.  The gorgeous weather makes it hard to want to stay inside.  Recently finished these two colored pencils exploring interactions with water.  This July I will be a featured artist with the amazing Sally Rhone-Kubarek at Art First.  Our theme will be Summertime and...
Also recieved good news that Caledon Beach Resident was accepted to the National Juried Show Conceal and Reveal at the FCCA for May.

Really love the new work. I am enjoying the border idea more and more with each piece. Coming down into the border with the subject matter is interesting--to me you are saying "think outside the box" and you make it look effortless!!
The border also gives some pieces a storybook quality which personally I think is fantastic. Regardless of medium, you manage to capture everyday scenes while bringing an air of magic and intrigue to them. Carol your work is special; it makes me think, feel and see things differently.
